The City of Washington provides four 80ft bulkhead docks for up to a 48 hour stay at no charge on a first come first serve basis. Stays longer will incur a fee of $.75 per foot per day. The docks do not have water or electricity but are conveniently located closed to the downtown shopping district.
Turn west into the Pamlico River. Follow the marked channel about 31 miles until you see the City of Washington on the starboard side. The Free Docks are the four long face docks on the most eastern edge of the waterfront district, immediately in front of a park.
